China is the largest producer of stuffed toys in the world. In fact, many of the world's largest toy manufacturers are based in China, including companies such as Hasbro, Mattel, and LEGO, among others.
According to data from the World Bank, in 2019, China exported approximately $7.2 billion worth of toys, games, and sports equipment, much of which included stuffed toys.
China's dominance in the stuffed toy industry is due in part to the country's low labor costs, favorable government policies, and large manufacturing base. Additionally, Chinese manufacturers have become increasingly skilled in producing high-quality toys that meet the safety standards of the countries to which they are exported.
While other countries such as Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia also have significant toy manufacturing industries, China remains the largest producer of stuffed toys by a wide margin.
